Heritage on Wheels Itinerary
Heritage on Wheels is another luxury train that provides travellers an opportunity to get a taste of Indian art and culture. The heritage train is modeled on the lines of the legendary Palace on Wheels train. However, the itinerary of Heritage on Wheels is different from that of the Palace on Wheels on Train. Unlike Palace on Wheels’ weeklong tour, the Heritage on Wheels offers 3 Nights/4 Days package tour. Destinations covered in the Heritage on Wheels itinerary include: Jaipur – Bikaner – Haat – Gajner – Tal Chhapar – Ramgarh – Nawalgarh.
Heritage on Wheels Itinerary
Day 01: Jaipur - Bikaner
Heritage on Wheels begins its journey from Jaipur railway station. Guests are traditionally welcomed at the station and then train leaves for its first destination – Bikaner. Dinner is served on board.
Day 02: Bikaner
Breakfast is served on board. Train arrives at Bikaner railway station where an air-conditioned coach waits for tourists to take them on a tour of Bikaner. The bus then leaves for Haat. After a short stopover at Haat, the coach takes guests for Gajner. After arrival at Gajner, have some sumptuous lunch and enjoy camel safaris through the desert. Back on board, have dinner and depart for Tal Chhapar.
Day 03: Tal Chhapar and Shekhawati
Heritage on Wheels arrives at the Padhiyar Railway Station. On arrival at Tal Chhapar, go for some local sightseeing. Depart for Ramgarh on board Heritage on Wheels. On reaching Ramgarh, Heritage on Wheels takes you for some sightseeing of havelis in the town. The train then leaves for Mandawa. Here travellers enjoy the grandeur of the Mandawa palaces and cenotaphs. Guests enjoy their lunch at Mandawa Resort and depart for Nawalgarh. After arrival at Nawalgarh, visit the ornate havelies and other attractions and have evening snacks and tea here. Back on the Heritage on Wheels, have dinner and leave for Jaipur.
Day 04: Jaipur
Have breakfast on board Heritage on Wheels after reaching Jaipur. Disembark the Heritage on Wheels and mark the end of an extraordinary and memorable journey.
