Heritage on Wheels is a luxury train, on the lines of the Palace on Wheels. Heritage on Wheels is a joint venture of the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation and Indian Railways. The Heritage on Wheels runs on the meter gauge. The train traverses through the uncharted regions of Bikaner and Shekhawati, famous repositories of the heritage and culture of Rajasthan. Bikaner is a cultural and historical city of Rajasthan. Bikaner is a medieval town, formed during the fifteenth century. It is dotted with scores of sand dunes.
